Game Overview

What you do

• Pick the winner of each scheduled NFL game for the week.
• Submit your picks before games lock at kickoff.
• Earn points for correct picks and track your progress on the leaderboard.

What you get

• A clean weekly pick form that shows your previously saved picks.
• A weekly picks table to see who picked what (by week).
• A season-long leaderboard with totals, points-behind, and weekly points.

Note: Game schedules and results are managed by the league admin. Picks lock at kickoff and scoring updates after results are entered.

How to Play

Step-by-step

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Open the Weekly Pick Form and select the winner for each game.
3. Review your picks — your previously saved picks will be shown (if you’ve already submitted).
4. Submit once for the whole slate of games.
5. Check results after games are final to see correct picks highlighted and points awarded.
6. Track the leaderboard weekly and season-long.

Scoring

Regular Season

1 point for each correct pick.

Example: If you correctly pick 10 winners in Week 7, you score 10 points for that week.

Playoffs

2 points for each correct pick.

Playoff rounds are tracked separately (Wild Card, Divisional, Conference, Super Bowl).

How points are applied

• Points are awarded after a game’s winner is set (typically after the game is final).
• Your weekly points are the sum of correct picks for that week.
• Your total points are your season points across all completed weeks (regular season + playoffs).

Rules & Deadlines

Pick Locking

• Picks lock at each game’s kickoff time.
• If a game has locked, you can no longer change that pick.
• If you haven’t submitted picks before a game locks, that game will be counted as no pick for you.

No ties / unusual outcomes

• If an NFL game ends in a tie, the admin will follow the league’s predefined rule (commonly: no points awarded for that matchup). If your league uses a different rule, it will be announced.
• Postponed games are scored once a winner is recorded.

Sportsmanship

• One account per participant.
• Have fun and keep it friendly — trash talk is optional, respect is required.

Leaderboard & Standings

What the leaderboard shows

• Position (POS) — your rank in the standings.
• User — your login/username.
• Total — total points earned.
• Behind — how many points behind the leader you are.
• AVG — average points per week (based on weeks completed to date).
• Weekly columns — points earned each week (W1–W18) and playoff rounds (WC/DIV/CONF/SB).

Weekly picks table

• Select a week from the dropdown to view picks for that week.
• Only users who submitted picks for that week are displayed.
• Once game winners are set, picks may be color-coded:
  • Green = correct pick
  • Red = incorrect pick

On mobile, the table may scroll horizontally to keep the layout readable.

Strategy Tips

Consistency wins seasons

• Avoid chasing longshots every week.
• Pick the best probability outcomes unless you need to make up ground late.

Use late-week info

• Monitor injury reports (QB/OL/CB are high impact).
• Weather matters — wind can change passing games drastically.
• Short-week travel can affect performance.

Playoff mindset

• Playoffs are worth double points — treat them like a new season.
• Be careful with heavy underdogs; the value is bigger, but so is the risk.

If you’re behind

• Pick a couple strategic upsets where the matchup supports it.
• Don’t flip everything — one or two “differentiators” is usually enough.

FAQ

What happens if I forget to submit?

Any game you don’t pick before kickoff is treated as a missed pick (0 points possible for that matchup). Make it a habit to submit early and check back before the first kickoff.

Can I change picks after submitting?

You can update picks until a game locks at kickoff. After kickoff, that game is locked and cannot be changed.

When are scores updated?

Scores update after game results are entered by the admin. Once the winner is set, scoring and pick results will reflect it.

Do playoffs count?

Yes — playoffs are included, and each correct playoff pick is worth 2 points.
