Overview
The PGA Pick’em game lets you test your golf knowledge by selecting professional golfers for each PGA event and earning points based on how they perform. Compete against other players throughout the season, climb the leaderboard, and chase the podium with smart picks, bonus predictions, and consistent scoring.
Each event features golfers divided into performance-based tiers, ensuring balanced competition and strategic decision-making every week.
📝 How to Play
1. Make Your Picks
For each PGA event:
- Golfers are divided into three tiers
- You must select 2 golfers from each tier (6 total picks)
Tier Structure (Based on players odds for specific event as set by PGA)
- Tier 1: 10 players
- Tier 2: 15 players
- Tier 3: 25 players
You’ll also choose bonus predictions from your selected golfers (see Bonus Scoring below).
2. Pick Lock
- Picks lock automatically at the event start time
- Once locked, picks cannot be changed
- Admins may manually lock or finish events if needed
3. Follow the Tournament
As the tournament progresses:
- Golfers earn points based on finish position
- Bonus points are added or subtracted based on tier expectations
- Missed cuts (MC) carry penalties
4. Check the Leaderboard
Your points accumulate across events for season-long standings. The leaderboard updates as results are finalized.
📏 Game Rules
- You must submit exactly 6 picks (2 from each tier)
- Picks must be submitted before lock time
- Missed picks or incomplete submissions score 0 points
- Golfers may appear in different tiers for different events
- Final results and scoring are calculated only after an event is Finished
🧮 Scoring System
Base Finish Points
Each golfer earns base points based on their final finishing position in the event. Higher finishes = more points.
(Exact base values are managed by the admin and applied consistently across events.)
Missed Cut (MC)
- Any golfer who misses the cut receives -5 points
🎯 Tier Performance Bonus
Each tier has an expected performance range. Golfers earn bonus points for outperforming their tier — and lose points if they underperform.
Examples
- A Tier 3 golfer finishing Top 10 earns bonus points
- A Tier 1 golfer finishing outside expectations may lose points
This rewards players who identify breakout performances and undervalued golfers.
⭐ Bonus Pick Scoring
From your 6 selected golfers, you may designate bonus predictions:

- 🔝 Top 5 Finish
- 🔟 Top 10 Finish
If your bonus pick succeeds, you earn additional points on top of base and tier scoring.
Bonus picks are optional but can be a major difference-maker on the leaderboard.
