FFP – Fantasy Football Pick’em

Official Rules of Play

Welcome to Fantasy Football Pick’em (FFP), a season-long fantasy football game where you build a new roster each week while strategically managing your player selections throughout the season. Unlike traditional fantasy football, you do not own players for the entire season—you draft a brand-new lineup every week, but you cannot use the same player in consecutive weeks.

League Overview

FFP is a season-long fantasy football competition that follows the NFL schedule.

Each week, every participant builds a fantasy lineup consisting of:

1 Quarterback (QB)
2 Running Backs (RB)
2 Wide Receivers (WR)
1 Tight End (TE)
1 Team Defense/Special Teams (DEF)
1 Kicker (K)

Every player’s fantasy points count toward your weekly score.

Your season score is the sum of every completed week’s fantasy points.

Season Format

The FFP season consists of:

14 Regular Season Weeks
Wild Card Round (WC)
Divisional Round (DIV)
Conference Championships (CC)
Fantasy Championship (FF)

Total events:

18 Weeks

Each week is scored independently while also contributing to your season total.

Weekly Lineup

Each participant must submit:

A lineup is considered complete only when every required position has been selected.

Weekly Player Selection Rule

The defining rule of FFP:

Players may NOT be selected in back-to-back weeks.

If you used Josh Allen during Week 4:

✅ Eligible again:

Any later week

❌ Not eligible:

Week 5

The same rule applies to:

Running Backs
Wide Receivers
Tight Ends
Team Defenses
Kickers

This rule forces owners to manage their roster strategically throughout the season.

Player Lock Times

Each NFL team has its own kickoff time.

Every fantasy player locks individually based on their NFL team’s scheduled kickoff.

Example:

Players remain selectable until their own game begins.

This allows owners to continue making lineup changes for players whose games have not yet started.

Partial Lineup Changes

Once a player’s game has started:

That player becomes locked.
Locked players cannot be changed.
Remaining unlocked players may still be edited until their individual kickoff times.

Only unlocked positions may still be edited.

Weekly Scoring

Fantasy points are entered by league administration after NFL games are completed.

Each player’s fantasy score is added together.

Official Fantasy Scoring

League administrators enter each player’s earned fantasy points using the league’s official scoring system.

The scoring system is established before the season begins and applies equally to every participant.

Projected fantasy points are displayed before each week begins for informational purposes only.

Projected points do not count toward league scoring.

Only officially entered earned fantasy points determine weekly results.

Projected Points

Before each week begins:

Every player receives a projected fantasy point total.

Projected points help owners compare players while making lineup decisions.

These projections:

are informational only
do not affect scoring
are not used in standings
may change weekly

Last Week’s Fantasy Points

Each player card displays:

Last week’s fantasy points
Current week’s projected fantasy points

This allows owners to compare recent performance before selecting a lineup.

Weekly Standings

After every NFL week:

League administration enters fantasy scores.

Weekly totals are calculated automatically.

The leaderboard updates to show:

Average Points

Average Points (AVG) are calculated using all completed weeks.

If a participant does not submit picks for a completed week:

This ensures every participant is evaluated across the same number of completed weeks.

Weekly Winners

The highest fantasy point total for a completed week is recognized as the:

The Top Five highest-scoring users are also displayed.

Leaderboard Rankings

Standings are based on:

Participants share the same competitive position.

Points Behind

The leaderboard displays:

Points Behind (PTS BEH)

This shows exactly how many fantasy points each participant trails the overall leader.

Missed Lineups

If no lineup is submitted before kickoff:

The participant receives:

0.0 points

for that completed week.

Incomplete Lineups

Any roster position left blank receives:

0.0 fantasy points

Only players actually selected contribute points.

Team Defenses

Each NFL Team Defense functions as its own selectable player.

Defenses follow the same rules as every other position.

Kickers

One kicker must be selected every week.

Kickers follow the same lock rules and consecutive-week restriction.

Sportsmanship

League administrators reserve the right to:

Correct scoring errors
Correct schedule errors
Correct player assignments
Resolve unforeseen circumstances
Enforce all league rules fairly

Administrative decisions are final.

Fair Play

Participants are expected to:

Submit their own lineups.
Follow all league rules.
Avoid exploiting software errors.
Report scoring discrepancies promptly.

Winning the League

At the conclusion of the Fantasy Championship:

The participant with the highest cumulative fantasy points across all completed weeks is crowned the:
