SMX Pro Pick’em – Official Rules of Play
Welcome to the Mackdaddy Sports SMX Pro Pick’em Challenge!
Test your SuperMotocross knowledge by building the best team for every event throughout the season. Earn points based on rider performance, make smart salary-cap decisions, and compete against players from around the world for the top spot on the leaderboard.
Season Format
The SMX Pro Pick’em season includes every event on the official SuperMotocross schedule, including:
- Supercross
- Pro Motocross
- SuperMotocross Playoffs
Each event is scored independently while also contributing to your overall season total.
How to Play
Before each event begins, build your fantasy lineup by selecting riders from both racing classes.
You will submit:
450 Class
- 5 Riders
- 1 Holeshot Bonus Pick
- 1 Overall Winner Bonus Pick
250 Class
- 5 Riders
- 1 Holeshot Bonus Pick
- 1 Overall Winner Bonus Pick
All picks must be submitted before the event start time.
Salary Cap
Every rider is assigned a fantasy salary for each event.
Your lineup must stay within the published salary cap.
Rider values change throughout the season based on performance, making every event a new strategic challenge.
Rider Availability
Only riders listed for the current event may be selected.
If a rider withdraws before the event begins, it is your responsibility to update your lineup before picks lock.
No substitutions are allowed after the deadline.
Bonus Picks
Each class includes two bonus selections.
Holeshot Pick
Choose one rider you believe will earn the holeshot.
A correct pick earns bonus points.
Winner Pick
Choose one rider you believe will win the overall event.
A correct pick earns bonus points.
Pick Deadline
Picks automatically lock at the official start time of each event.
After the deadline:
- No lineup changes are allowed.
- No rider substitutions are permitted.
- Bonus picks cannot be changed.
Please submit your picks early to avoid missing the deadline.
Event Scoring
Fantasy points are awarded based on each rider’s official overall finishing position for the event.
Bonus points are awarded for correct Holeshot and Overall Winner selections.
After all official race results have been posted, event scores will be finalized and added to the season standings.
Official Results
All scoring is based on the official event results.
If race officials make changes after the event has concluded, Mackdaddy Sports reserves the right to update fantasy scores accordingly.
Missed Picks
If no lineup is submitted before the deadline:
- You will receive zero points for that event.
- Previous event lineups will not carry over.
Leaderboards
Players compete on both:
- Event Leaderboards
- Overall Season Leaderboards
Leaderboards update after each event has been finalized.
Standings include:
- Overall Position
- Total Fantasy Points
- Points Behind Leader
- Average Points Per Event
- Event-by-Event Scores
User Dashboard
Your dashboard provides quick access to:
- Current event
- Pick deadline
- Your latest score
- Season points
- Overall ranking
- Previous picks
- Event history
Sportsmanship
The SMX Pro Pick’em Challenge is intended to be a fun and competitive fantasy game.
Players are expected to compete fairly.
Any attempt to exploit bugs, manipulate scoring, or interfere with league operation may result in score adjustments or removal from the league.
General Rules
- One account per participant.
- All decisions made by Mackdaddy Sports are final.
- Official race results determine all fantasy scoring.
- Rule updates may be made during the season when necessary to improve gameplay or correct errors.
- Continued participation indicates acceptance of these rules.
